We're home!
and I really can“t wait to read that babywearing post...
I have one question: (maybe someone already asked...) was it hard at the beginning? how long did it take you to feel really comfortable and safe while babywearing? what would be the best sling to start with? :)
email us @ sayingitsimply@yahoo.com
to work out the details.
Thanks!
kris
Love the photos! :-)
Now I know why you wanted to buy yellow bows :)
I love the pics where they are against the mirror.. they look like 4 babies :D
Also the last 2... their blue eyes are just gorgeous

My initial comment was going to be that I love the close-ups of the girls because for the first time I can see the difference in them...and I can really see it! As a mommy to twin girls about the same age as yours, I get the "How do you tell them apart?" question all the time. I think, "It's not hard!" but then I look at your girls and think, "How do you tell them apart?" ;) Now, close up, I can so see the difference.
They're so beautiful...each in their own way!
I have a question about babywearing that perhaps you could answer in your 101 post? I was wondering if you find with any of your 6 kids, if babywearing has made any of them extra clingy? I've found that kids who are held all the time tend to be on the clingy side. Have you experienced that?
Just one more quick q for the babywearing post: I used the hip carry for my previous kid without a problem, but now it seems to be very bothersome. Maybe because I have more kids to run after and therefore more stunts to perform, but I can't seem to get comfortable with the hip carry. I have nowhere to put my arm, and I feel like I'm pushing my baby's head aside when I wheel the stroller.
She is almost 8 months, but the most comfortable position for me is in the hotsling, tummy to tummy or in a maya wrap, legs crossed, facing out. Both positions are recommended till 6 months, but they are the ones that work.
Thanks!
Phototip: not sure you want it :) but I thought id let you in on it.. when I work with black and have gray show through (which in your photos it is up at the top portion of the girls photos).. you can fix this super easily by BURNING the black with the burn tool. When I burn i typically zoom in some to get it more precise... and then make the burn tool a lower opacity.. like 40% or so.. It works fantastic!!
I dont think the gray looks bad tho but if you wanted it all black thats a tip :)
Love love love the pics. I hate we wont get to meet you!! u should still totally come even if its just with the girls.
:)
