    Awesome pics! I'm sorry your heart is heavy - I wish we lived close so I could invite you over for some tea and a talk! Hang in there - as they say - it too shall pass.

    You've captured the harvest in a new and exquisite way--thank you for taking time to share with the world. We're sure your family being there is a blessing to others...trust that the blessing will go both ways. It might take awhile to see it, but there is a saying, "trials make pure gold." So the good news...God is into His refining work in your family!

    Having grown up on a farm, these pictures make me feel peaceful, safe, secure...all those safe at home emotions. Thanks for a wonderful trip down memory lane. I love how farmers, neighbors and families pull together so much at harvest time. I love the sight of 4 combines working in the wee, dark hours of night, and the dust that is kicked up into the horizon...{sigh}

    Been following your blog all the way from South Africa. Would have invited you for a cup of rooibos tea (redbush tea). It makes everything - well almost everything-better. You and your family are so inspiring.

    Wow. I never knew what it took to harvest a farm. That really opened my eyes. I mean I know it took farmers and tractors and the like BUT have never seen it personally. So this is the next best thing. Thank you for sharing. When do you all head back to the city so to speak now that you have been living the farm life. Have a peaceful evening. ML
